In France, It is a strike period. It means that it is very difficult to move, using the public transports. Railroaders want to defend their advantages, such advantages concerning retirement and so many others. But this is not the question. The question is “what are the implications?”. There are many ones. First, many people can’t go to work just as it is impossible because of the strike. Many of these people are compelling to take hollidays, and so they won’t have hollidays for X-Mas (children will feel alone). But, some implications are heavyest. Many workers are not so rich, and they couldn’t work for a few days, this means that they didn’t receive their entire income, and it can be a real problem when you have a family to feed. For people working with computer, it’s not so a hard problem, because they can work from home, but can not attend clients. Some people will say : because of the Internet, people dont’ care about the strike, it disrupts the social fabric, but I think it’s not true. Internet just allows people to accomplish some tasks that they usually perform in their office. It’s just a way to work even if strikers want us to stop working.
